About Rhys

He loved watching Mr Bean and dressing up. He loved his toy monkey ‘Eee Eee’ and he loved his Mum (Shannon), Dad (Dean) and Amalie with his whole heart.

On 22nd August 2016, Rhys’s life suddenly ended. He suffered a febrile convulsion in his sleep and his beautiful life was tragically cut short. He was 2 years old.

Support

Services and support are limited for Bereaved families within our beautiful Community of Launceston, Tasmania. Child loss affects thousands of families across Australia, all ages, any cause. A private Facebook page, ‘Bittersweet’, allows bereaved parents, siblings, and grandparents a platform to share, grieve and support each other. Offering hope to those so broken to persist with the overwhelming journey of loss.
